| Hello there friends! I know its been a while since my last post. I have been busy and I have been spending most of my spare web time at myspace. Sorry to all the myspace haters. Thats where all my students are so thats where I am going to spend most of my time. I just got back from B'ham Saturday night and Dad seems to being a little bit better. When I saw him 2 weeks ago I was afraid he wouldn't make it through the month, but he has started to eat a little and this seems to be helping some. Please continue to pray for him. I never imagined that I would be watching my father suffer like this, but that is the card we were dealt and we have to deal with it. Just pray for God's mercy throught these next few months. Cade is at church camp this week until Friday and we will then leave for Laguna Beach for our annual Beach Retreat where Benny Garcia will be speaking. Can't wait to hang with Benny and family for a week and a half. After the weekend retreat The family and I will be going to our District camp to spend another week there where I will be Recreation Director and Benny will be speaking there all week as well. Then he will be traveling to Tallahassee and speak at our morning service on Sunday. Alicia is so excited to be able to spend 10 whole days with her best friend. It has been since we lived in Birmingham that she has seen Jill this much. Good for them! Things are going great here. Matt and Hope are doing a wonderful jobe here and God is doing great things in the services as well. We are still looking for a Worship Pastor and a Childrens Pastor. We have many leads but we are taking our time with this.Would love to hear from all of you guys and learn about whats happening in your lives as well. Take care. Love you all!

| Hey guys, sorry it has been so long since I have posted. It has been crazy down here since Matt and Hope arrived. Things are really going great and there is such a buzz and excitement since they have been here. Matt is doing a great job and Hope and the kids are finally here for good. They are staying out at the lake next to Harry and Martha Cobb in a single wide that Bryan Cobb is renting them until they can find a house. Please continue to keep them in your prayers. I need your help with something. We are in the process of looking for a worship Pastor. With all the contacts we both have in ministry, you would think we could find one pretty easy, but that doesn't seem to be the case right now. If any of you know anybody that might be interested, send me a message. Oh yeah! Please pray for my dad, he is in Alabaster Health Care (formally Briarcliff by Kingwood) and he is not doing too well right now. He had pneumonia and has lost lots of strength and will to live. He will be in their for a while so if you find time please go by and see him. He is in room 258-B. He would love to see anyone right now. Please pass the word to others that know my dad. | | |
| What a hot day in Tally today. I walked out of the house this morning at 8am and it was already 75 and is supposed to climb to 87. Yikes! Matt called me yesterday to tell me they were leaving to come down early because of a snow storm that was about to hit Cincinatti. Matt and Hope will be going from a snow storm to a heat wave right away, but I personally would rather be heading to the snow storm. I know I am weird. He is arriving this evening around 5pm and we will have a group of guys here to unload them. Alicia and April (Carter) Cobb have gone to St George Island with the kids to spend a day at the beach and I am stuck here in the office writing a blog on Xanga and trying to prepare for a sermon on Sunday morning. I am currently in the middle of a "brain freeze". Matt will be here but he will not preach until April 2 so he can focus on finding a home for the family. Please keep them in your prayers. I want to thank you guys that have commented on the blogs. It is so neat to hear from friends that I have lost contact with since the Kingwood days. It brinks back very fun memories and it is also very nice to know what is going on in everyones life as we get old. Didn't mean to depress anyone with that, but we are ya know!

| I just wanted to let everyone know that Matt and Hope we elected as our Senior Pastors and will be moving to Tallahassee the first weekend in April. They need your prayers in finding a home. Homes are very expensive here in Tally. Much more expensive than Hamilton, Ohio and Birmingham. Believe it or not! I haven't figured out why yet. Anyways we are extatic and can't wait until they get back.

| Hey guys! Just want to ask a favor of everyone. Please remember Bayley in your prayers. I took her back to the doctor this afternoon because she was running a fever last night of 103. The chest x-ray still showed a little pneumonia in her right lung. He also thinks she has the flu. Matt and Hope are traveling in this evening to try-out for the Senior Pastorship on Sunday. Please pray for them as well. Faith, Kelly and Meghan are coming in tomorrow and staying until Sunday. Alicia, Harry, Martha, and I are so excited to have old friends in for the weekend. Martha and Harry have a beautiful place on the lake and love to entertain so feel free to pay us a visit anytime. | | |
